Evergreen, Wan Hai to Launch China-ASEAN Loop - 2010-07-05

Evergreen Line and Wan Hai Lines will launch the joint Hwa-Bei Strait Service starting early July between China and Southeast Asia. The two carriers said they are launching the service as a result of the commercial opportunities opened by the free trade agreement between China and the Association of South East Asian Nations that began January 1. Evergreen and Wan Hai will each deploy two vessels of 2,100 20-foot equivalent units capacity on the following port rotation: Dalian, Tianjin, Qingdao, Hong Kong, Shekou, Jakarta, Port Klang, Singapore, Tanjung Pelepas, Hong Kong, Shanghai and back to Dalian. The transit time will be 28 days per trip. The first voyage will be from Dalian by Wan Hai's Northern Victory. Evergreen Line will dispatch its vessel Conti Brisbane from Dalian on July 17.Source: joc.com
